Det svenska dragspelet (The Swedish Accordion) is about the accordion and how it was introduced in Sweden, about Swedish pioneer builders in the 19th Century and about the growth of the accordion factories from the early 20th Century and forwards.

The first volume describes the period of 1829-1945 and can be ordered on this website. The second volume, 1945-1960, describes "the golden years" with a lot of domesticaccordion factories and accordion music exposed in media. The third volume, 1960-1999, is about the rebirth of interest for the instrument from late 1960s and over the following decade.
